Our History

Starting out as a self-storage business, founder Richard Ferkich, Sr. noticed some of his tenants had begun selling items out of their units, and in 1980 the Oldsmar Flea Market was born. Nearly 40 years later, the Oldsmar Flea Market has been one of the largest markets on Florida’s West Coast, featuring hundreds of vendors selling furniture, local produce, gourmet food, antiques, modern and contemporary household items, clothing, electronics, jewelry, and much more.

In 2018, the market was purchased by Saint Petersburg entrepreneur, Grady Pridgen, who he has some great plans to spruce up the market and bring in new fun elements over the next couple of years. The Future is Coming!
